Prologue The session started with a discussion about how the Company had accumulated a meaningful amount of Glory and how that influenced their standing in the realm. They spoke to the captain to learn about the Holding but the captain didn't really care much about the place and mainly had second-hand stories. Once they disembarked they sought a local to gain further intel and they encountered Suzy, a young hunter, who cared little for the paper-pushers, but she knew a little of how the political game was played. Prologue We ended the last session at the sanctum in the north east. After receiving visions the knights were not unified on their next goal. After some back and forth the Riddle knight prevailed in convincing the Company that the greatest threat was on the grey island to the west. The Weaver Knight wanted to know what was causing this greying of the lands. So in his vision the Weaver Knight was running around an underground chamber (a dark cave) he knew he was looking for something, but knew not what. In his frantic search he was heating up and sweating. His heart was beating against his ribs. Then he noticed a single beam of light falling in from above and in that moment a wave of calm washed over. Alas this was short-lived as his heart exploded. Obvious right? There had been a lively conversation about Pendragon and as a Mythic Bastionland-enjoyer I just couldn't let that slide. In a recent conversation with Horst (of  Black City Gauntlet  fame) I was shamed for making decisions where the dice and/or players would generate more interesting and surprising results. I tried to lean into that style of play slightly more than what I generally prefer. I would usually curate the myths somewhat, but for this game I rolled up 6 myths and placed them randomly. I was tempted to remove The Inferno which I had recently ran, but the potential judgement of Horst loomed great in my mind and I decided against it.
